As most people can tell, dance is my life. No matter what I'm feeling at the moment I dance and a feeling of joy overwhelms me. My sacred place is the dance studio in which I have been at for seven years, dancing and teaching. I enter the dance studio greeting the welcoming smiles of parents, students, Sarabeth (my boss and best friend). I have had rollercoasters of emotions at the dance studio, but it never fails to be a place I look forward to going to. Ballet was never a form of dance that I was into, particularly because of the Russian ballet teacher Ms. Svetlania. However, I teach ballet to the girls now, and the time flies by. It's funny how when I enjoy something so much I never get bored with it. I am at the dance studio at least twenty hours a week. Never have I ever thought to myself, "I don't want to go to dance today." Sometimes I go up to the studio, just to go and freestyle. With my body moving to the music, I feel complete; I feel me.

Heroes aren't something that we come across too often. As the saying goes, no one is perfect. To me, heroes are people that rise above it all and conquer their dreams, and inspire others to do so.Mia Michaels and Wade Robson are two people that I feel are heroes. They have accomplished so much in such a short amount of time, and are brilliant choreographers. When working with them at Pulse dance convention, they were so motivating that my choreography for the next two weeks was genius. As for popular entertainment, one word: Broadway. The combination of actors, singers, and dancers all performing on stage together is just amazing. I am personally addicted to Broadway shows. I have only been to New York twice for dance and have attended seven broadway shows. That's right, seven. The list includes Rent, Wicked, Lion King, Hairspray, Chicago, Grease, and The Color Purple. Favorite? No. I loved them all.
